POSCO-MKPC SDN BHD formerly known as Posmmit Steel Centre Sdn Bhd is a strategic joint
venture company between POSCO (the world’s leading steel mill in Korea) and Prestar
Resources Berhad (a Public Listed Company on Main Board of Bursa Malaysia).
POSCO-MKPC was incorporated on 5 January 1996 with the aim of entering into the market of
steel processing. In order to to continue building on their foundation of service excellence so as
to enhance their competitive edge to become one of the leaders in the local steel industry,
POSCO-MKPC have set up a new 70,000m 2 production factory at Pelabuhan Klang for
production on Hot rolled & cold rolled steel, Aluminised steel, Electro galvanised steel,
Galvanised steel, Stainless steel and etc.
